Designer, Michael McCann of Dreamtime Australia Design created the stunning 600 sqm, two-storey loft, open-plan Flying Fish restaurant and bar - at the significant heritage Jones Bay Wharf.

McCann said it has been a rare and exclusive opportunity to work with this historic site, “I have always had great faith in the Pyrmont area and believe Flying Fish will offer Sydney a truly unique waterfront dining experience,” said Michael McCann.

McCann has maximised this space by maintaining the original early twentieth century wharf features of the dark timber slatted ironwood walls, floors and massive overhead steel trusses, and juxtaposed a stunning collection of contemporary furnishings, custom made glass pendant chandeliers and artwork, whilst dedicating an entire room for a wine cellar.
